Biography
Something For Nothing and Nothing For All is the brainchild of Kallum McIntosh, and began in 2005. Kallum had long been experimenting with acid (acid music, not the drug), and he decided that it would be fun to make techno music. After all, it was so easy. So he pirated some software, went loop hunting and in no time he was mixin it up with the best of them. That is to say, no one was saying he sucked. No one was saying anything, but Kallum didn't care. He then completed his first album, which was released on FMC records (From My Computer), entitled In The Beginning Was The End. It contained many songs that were all very odd and had overly philosophical titles. It was really lame, but it was a start. He then went back to his other hobby, writing actual music (like with guitars and drums). He began experimenting with all kinds of music, taking influence from many bands. Most of the things he was writing were acoustic songs, dealing with poverty, urban decay and the general chaos of modern life. However, he was also writing reggae, punk, screamo and metal. In early summer 2006 he began putting the finishing touches on the songs he hoped to put on a 2 disc album entitled AFK & Life. The album would feature songs from every genre except pop (sucks), country (like a hacksaw to the brain) and rap (I'd rather burn off my nutsack). The story continues...
